                       <p><strong>GAST Students Triumph at the Model United Nations Conference!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After two days of intensive work in simulated UN committees, our 9th grade students achieved outstanding success and won prestigious nominations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Alavidze<\/strong> \u2013 100% funded diplomatic visit to Vienna<br \/>\n<strong>Akaki Ekvtimeishvili<\/strong> \u2013 100% funded diplomatic visit to Strasbourg<br \/>\n<strong>Nikoloz Makarashvili<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for diplomatic visits to Tokyo and Strasbourg<br \/>\n<strong>Nikoloz Varamishvili<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for a diplomatic visit to Washington, D.C.<br \/>\n<strong>Rezo Shaphtoshvili<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for a diplomatic visit to Strasbourg<br \/>\n<strong>Natali Sethuridze<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for a diplomatic visit to Strasbourg<br \/>\n<strong>Nutsa Lagazidze<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for a diplomatic visit to Strasbourg<br \/>\n<strong>Ani Dolidze<\/strong> \u2013 50% co-funding for a diplomatic visit to Strasbourg<\/p>\n<p>On February 7\u20138, the Georgian-American School of Tbilisi hosted the Model United Nations Conference organized by the \u201cYoung Diplomats of Georgia.\u201d Nearly 70 students from across the country participated in the event, including eight of our 9th graders.<\/p>\n<p>Model United Nations provides students with a unique platform to gain practical experience in simulated UN General Assembly committees, engaging in discussions, debates, and drafting resolutions on pressing international issues.<\/p>\n<p>We are incredibly proud of our students\u2019 achievements \u2014 a true reflection of their hard work, analytical thinking, and leadership
