Fully Funded Seminar for Teachers
On December 5, a professional development seminar for teachers was held at the Georgian-American School in Tbilisi on the topic: “Interactive Teaching Methods & Project-Based Learning.” The seminar was led by Professor Lanet Dellinger, Executive Director of our partner American organization, Global Partners for Education, who has spent over 30 years providing training for students and teachers in English language and modern teaching methods in various countries around the world.
In the rapidly changing environment of the 21st century, the traditional classroom process is no longer sufficient. The main challenge of modern education is developing students’ skills in critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. The seminar focused specifically on methods that help students apply theoretical knowledge to real life and become active participants in the learning process.
Attendance at the seminar was also open to teachers from other schools. The participation fee for all attendees was fully covered by the Georgian-American School of Tbilisi.
