
Grand opening of the first branch of Zaza Pachulia Basketball Academy
Former NBA star and entrepreneur, Zaza Pachulia, in partnership with the Georgian-American School of Tbilisi, has unveiled the second branch of their collaborative Basketball Academy at the brand new basketball hall built on the premises of the school. Zaza Pachulia together with one of the founders of the school Levani Gogia took part in the opening ceremony.
400 children living in the Isan-Samgori neighbourhood will have the opportunity to practice basketball under the best conditions at a multi-purpose facility.
It is noteworthy that student of GAST can choose basketball as one of their preferred club.
Pachulia believes this expansion will not only promote sports but also foster a healthier lifestyle among locals. He shared, “Collaborating with the Georgian-American School holds special significance for me, given my close ties with its leader and former classmate, Levan Gogia. I’m confident our combined efforts will greatly benefit the community, especially its youth.”
