At GAST, every day we are focused on enhancing knowledge of our students to equip them with necessary skills to tackle the challenges of the modern world. In the 21st century, the rapid development of digital technologies has not only accelerated the spread of information but also increased the possibility of information manipulation.
On April 2nd in connection with International Fact-Checking Day, the Communications Commission held an informational meeting at GAST for 8th-grade students on the topic “Real or Made-Up?!”.The aim of the event was to deepen their knowledge in media literacy. Our students learned about different types of false information and how to determine the reliability of information.
