New Year Celebration at GAST

During the last week of December before the winter break new year celebration activities took place at GAST, which turned out to be very joyful, diverse and creative. The program included the following performances by various grades:

IIB grade featured English fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk (English teacher Shorena Gabelia)

IIA and II B grades – New Year Festival (Mentors Mzia Dolidze and Mariam Tetradze)

III grade – performed the Frig Prince in English ((English teacher Shorena Gabelia)

IV A grade – New Year tradition around the world (Mentor Maia Gelashvili)

IV B grade – Kidnapping of Santa Claus (Mentor Teona Makatsaria)

V graders for the first time decided to shoot a short 15-minute film about ,,How the Grinch stole Christmas in GAST.” They used their mobile devices for the shooting. The scriptwriter is their mentor Lena Bolkvadze. The parents, teachers and students from other grades attended the premiere of the movie held at GAST theater hall.

One of the highlights of the New Year celebration was a flashmob performed by the girls, including the first graders, from the gymnastics club. Choreographer is Alina Kholodnova from Valentina Kuzmidi’s High School of Gymnastics.
