Open Day at GAST

On February 22, Georgian-American School of Tbilisi (GAST) hosted prospective parents at the Open Day. The event allowed visitors to tour the school campus and receive detailed information about the academic programs, teaching approaches, extra-curricular opportunities and the guiding values.

The official part of the event brought together the school principal, Irakli Manelidze, the deputy principal, Maia Kubetova, the quality assurance manager, Lia Kobesashvili, and the clubs manager, Temur Khudaverdov, who gave presentation about their respective areas and provided attendees with valuable insights into teaching environment on campus. After the presentation, Q & A session followed, where parents had the opportunity to ask follow-up questions to the speakers.

Meanwhile, future first graders, who came together with their parents to the event, were welcomed by the primary school teachers, who planned a separate kids-oriented event for the little guests in order not to distract the parents and give them a first glimpse of school life.

Pre-registration for future first graders at the GAST continues until the spots are filled. At the same time, registration is ongoing for students wishing to transfer to our school and who are currently enrolled in the first through the eighth grades.

The Tbilisi Georgian-American School opened in September 2023. At the moment there are in total 222 students enrolled.
