Educational program at the lower secondary level of general education
The mission of the lower secondary education level:
Constructing solid, dynamic and functional knowledge based on teaching, and learning of subjects;
Revealing the student’s interests and inclinations and promoting their development;
Promoting the development of research skills in students;
Promoting the development of a student’s independent learning (learning to learn) ability and working ability;
Promoting the formation of an active citizen and creating the foundations for continuing learning at the next level of education or for labor activity.
Description of the learning process at the basic education level:
Helping students to set individual learning goals and improve self-assessment skills;
Helping students to understand a healthy way of life and to develop the skills to preserve it;
Helping students develop research skills;
Creating a prerequisite for a student to continue their studies, or to make the right choice in the labor market.
